Beautiful and Impactful: My Honest Review of the Sing for Joy Necklace
As a Christian mom, I am always on the lookout for products that align with my values and support my parenting journey. When I get dressed and feel put together, it boosts my mood and helps me be more present and joyful with my kids. Recently, I was asked to review a product from Freedom Fashion by Jeni Jonte, and I am thrilled to share my experience with you. She kindly provided the Sing for Joy Necklace to me for free and is also generously giving away one Sing for Joy Necklace to a lucky Raising Disciples Mom reader.

When I received the necklace, I was immediately impressed by the cute box and the high quality of the beads. Unboxing it felt like opening a thoughtful gift – the presentation was just lovely.
I loved the long length of the necklace at 21″. I had recently lost one of my favorite long pendant necklaces, so I was thrilled to have another one. The Fossil Jasper beads feature natural wood, and you can tell this necklace is made from the highest quality materials. The beautiful tan-colored silk tassel with a leather tie makes it so unique and beautiful.
I’ve worn several beaded necklaces in the past, but the Sing for Joy Necklace from Freedom Fashion by Jeni Jonte surpasses them all. The quality of the Fossil Jasper beads and the uniqueness of the silk tassel really set it apart from the more common designs I’ve seen.
This necklace is absolutely stunning! I wear it almost every day. It goes with everything and makes me feel good knowing it’s ethically made. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and I love knowing that this supports a great cause.

As Christian moms, we often seek to find beauty and purpose in our daily lives. This necklace embodies that perfectly. I wear this necklace to dress up an outfit for special occasions, like when I wore it to my children’s graduation ceremony.
It adds just the right amount of elegance. I also love wearing it in everyday happenings, like taking my son on a date or going to a homeschool event. No matter the occasion, I feel fashionable and stylish with it. Whether I’m attending a formal event or just running errands, this necklace always makes me feel put together and chic.
But the best part about this beautiful necklace and all the products Jeni sells is that you can feel good knowing each and every person is treated ethically and paid fair/living wages for the area they live in.
As someone who values integrity and justice, I’ve often felt conflicted and wondered where my products come from and how the workers making them might be treated. But Jeni is an independent stylist for Crowned Free. The mission of Crowned Free is to end human trafficking through ethical fashion. They have beautiful, well-made products in clothing, jewelry, home decor, stationery, and beauty and wellness.
In addition to this, you can help make a huge difference and impact in the fight against human trafficking. Every month they give back 15% of net income to a different organization working to fight and end human trafficking. This month the organization is Generate Hope – Empowering and Restoring Lives. Please check their website to learn more about them: generatehope.org.
They also employ survivors of human trafficking to make the products with artisan groups around the world, including here in the US. It is crucial that once someone has been rescued, they are given all the support they need to help them heal, recover, and begin to live the life they were meant to. Tragically, too many times a person may find themselves back in a trafficking situation, and a large part of our mission is to help ensure that doesn’t happen.
This necklace, in particular, was ethically made in the Dominican Republic by survivors of human trafficking. The Dominican Republic is home to the third fastest growing sex-trafficking industry in the world. Their Artisan Partners are working to change that by providing economic opportunities for women and girls escaping human trafficking, exploitation, and domestic violence. They provide holistic care for women and their children, shelter, reproductive and mental health support, nutrition, education, parenting support, legal counsel and prosecution, advocacy services, faith, and community.
