Hi there! I am Kristin

Welcome to Raising Disciples Mom

I’m Kristin Escalera, daughter of Jesus, wife to my wonderful husband, Juan, for 13 years, and mom to five precious kiddos. We have been homeschooling for more than eight years and are passionate about teaching all things pointing to Christ.

My mom taught me three important aspects to parenting: Teaching your children, being an example to them and loving your children. I carry that mantra on to our children and that is what Raising Disciples Mom is all about.

Teaching your children about God’s Word and wisdom, being a Christ-like example and loving and cherishing your kids. I pray this blog encourages you and gives you practical tips to use for your own families. May all the glory be to God!
